BIKE DOCK LAUNCHES RENTAL SERVICE TO EASE THE WAY FOR CHARITY BIKE RIDE ORGANISERS

Following the boom in the number of people staging and participating in charity cycle rides each year, Bike Dock Solutions, , the specialist provider of secure cycle parking equipment and accessories, has launched a special cycle parking hire service for organisers of charity cycle rides.

The company, which already works with local authorities, Transport for London and private companies, to deliver cycle parking solutions, can provide a number of cycle racks for events for a small rental charge which may be as little as £15.00 per day.

“Organising a charity bike ride is a major undertaking, particularly in ensuring that the cyclists taking part have access to all of the facilities they need to keep their bikes safe and secure so that they can concentrate on enjoying the day,” explains Bike Dock’s James Nash. “Our rental service gives event organisers access to the products they need in a convenient and cost effective package.”

The robust racks are ideal for rental for charity events as they require no permanent fixings. The racks are manufactured in hot-dip galvanised steel, with round tube wheel locators and are designed for medium duty, for example company bicycle parks, small housing estates and private houses etc. They are generally designed to each accommodate 4 or 5 cycles and are suitable for all types of bicycles, including mountain bikes, with a maximum tyre width of 1550mm.
