It’s been a busy past few weeks in the Shoreditch office. Bike Dock Solutions were lucky enough to become the only bike parking company supplying London 2012 Cycling events. It’s been great to see our Triathlon transition rack on TV (see screen captures from the BBC) and in the papers.
It’s easy to forget all of the work that goes on behind the scenes at an event like the Olympics. We supplied bespoke transport racks to mount inside UPS trucks. These were used to move 225 bikes between mountain bike, road, triathlon and track events.
We also provided A-frame racks for the velodrome to store bikes between events. This great photo appeared in the centre page spread of the Evening Standard (credit: Graham Chadwick). Although it’s a pretty simple product it’s been an honour to supply for the Olympics and a testimony to the quality of the brand.
